Skancke's new building in IKEA Handelspark Nydal

There was a buzz of positive energy as Morten Skancke, the painting company's manager, opened the doors to the brand new premises strategically located at Ikea Handelspark Nord, "We had simply outgrown the old premises we moved into back in 2009," Skancke explains. "The new premises are not only larger, but also more energy efficient, which harmonises perfectly with our ambitions for further growth," he continues.
The new premises are modern and energy-efficient, with flexible workspaces that encourage collaboration and innovation. For employees, this means a more comfortable and inspiring working environment, with updated facilities that make everyday life easier and more productive.
- The first electricity bills have arrived and we're already seeing a reduction of around 30%, despite the building being almost three times larger than the previous one. This is really impressive and shows that we've taken a step in the right direction," notes a satisfied Morten.
But it's not just on the energy front that the new premises are impressive. Employees can now enjoy spacious and modern office space that encourages both productivity and well-being. Storage space has also been significantly expanded, which streamlines the workflow considerably.
- We now have plenty of space for storage, with easy access that makes it easier to get in and out. This makes logistics much more efficient," says Morten.
Skancke emphasises the smooth transition to the new building and praises the team for their efforts during the moving process.
