Your first choice for professional painting and wallpapering work since 1990. As part of Håndverksgruppen - the largest surface contractor in the Nordic region - we are a leader in painting and wallpapering work in Innlandet, and cover large parts of Eastern Norway in epoxy coatings.
We are located in new, beautiful premises in IKEA Næringspark just outside Hamar.

With Morten Skancke as general manager and sole employee.

In 1990, Morten Skancke was established as a sole proprietorship with the general manager as the first employee. Morten ran the company himself until 1994, when he hired Roy, and Roy is still employed and an important part of Skancke.

Established as an AS in 2000, with 12 employees and a turnover of approximately NOK 8-9 million. We were based at Espern with assignments spread across the region.

2004 - 2007 was the time of the old Hamar Bryggeri, and we had grown to over 20 employees with a turnover of approximately NOK 20 million. In 2007, the company moved to Strandveien and bought Skancke Malermester Arne Rustand, and Ole Per Rustad became part of Skancke.

During and after the financial crisis, it became important for us to get more legs to stand on. We acquired IFAAS, a specialist in epoxy and industrial coatings. This strategic acquisition doubled the company's turnover and established it as a nationwide player.

The company developed with strengthened administration in all specialised areas. In 2012, we were one of 14 companies that established the member organisation Håndverksgruppen, and in the same year the first framework agreement was signed with IF.

During the period, the company grew by more than NOK 90 million in turnover and more than 50 employees with assignments in large parts of Eastern Norway. The epoxy department represented a large part of the turnover, and the assignments were distributed throughout Norway.

Håndverksgruppen as a group is established and Skancke becomes part of the group. FSN Capital became an owner, and the ambition was to become better together and become the largest paint, brick and tile group in the Nordic region.

In 2022, Bas2 was merged into Skancke, and the company's annual turnover reached almost NOK 130 million. In 2023, we established ourselves in new, customised premises in Nydal, strategically located by the E6 motorway. The premises are customised to our business and facilitate continued growth.

The Eco-Lighthouse certificate enables us to measure our climate emissions and identify measures to reduce them further.
