NY Hairdresser became new with us!

When Ny Frisør og velvære was to be renovated, it was a natural decision to collaborate with the craftsmen that the building's landlord, Utstillingsplassen, collaborates with! 

The salon is centrally located on Østre Torg in the heart of Hamar city center and has a long history as one of the city's most well-established salons. Over the past years, the salon has undergone a name change from Perry Frisør to NY Frisør og Velvære, and in the spring of 2023, it was time for a complete renovation of all surfaces.

Christin Mjåseth, General Manager of NY Frisør og Velvære, says that she has had continuous communication with the Project Manager at Skancke throughout the refurbishment period. "We've had productive meetings beforehand, and Skancke has always been available when we've had questions," she explains. With a personal interest in interior design, Mjåseth had thoroughly researched the colour scheme and wallpaper before the meetings with the project manager. She adds, "We experienced a spirit of co-operation and Skancke took responsibility for ordering and delivering everything we asked for in the renovation process". NY Frisør og Velvære had to close for a whole week, and when the time came to reopen, the craftsmen proved to be solution-oriented and worked strategically to minimise disruption and obstacles for customers.
