Malermester Morten Skancke AS is hiring - Flooring

Are you the dedicated craftsman we are looking for? We are now looking for an enthusiastic, solid manager with the motivation and desire to build up our new flooring department.

Who are we?

- Malermester Morten Skancke AS are located in Hamar in the Innland region of Norway. We are 63 employees with a turnover of MNOK 120.

- We are a preferred professional painting company who offers service within paint and wallpaper work since 1990. As a part of Håndverksgruppen – the largest surface contractor in the Nordic region – we are a leader to offer professional craftsman services within paint and wallpaper work in our region and to cover a large part of Easten Norway in epoxy coatings.

- As a part of our strategy 2024- 2026, we now want to build up and establish a flooring department. Earlier, our company was known for its high level in flooring, but because of the challenges to educate and recruit good floor workers, the department has been downsized over time. Today we have one employer who serve the floor department. Therefore, we are looking for you, who are a dedicated worker, which want to manage and rebuild the department again, with focus on high deliverance and professional service.

 

What can we offer:

- Manage project from (A-Z) planning to completion. This include bidding, material procurement, time management and to be a participating part of in the daily work in the flooring team.

Who are we looking for?

  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Organized with attention on detail
  • Certificated in flooring or you are experienced from the craft industry
  • You are passionate about the trade and the construction industry
  • Good skills of in to read or understand blueprints and drawings
  • You communicate well in English or Norwegian
