Can a worn wooden floor be like new?

The customer came to us with a wooden floor heavily marked by long use, full of scratches, discolouration and general wear and tear.

It's disheartening to see how a beautiful wooden floor gradually loses its original lustre and eventually shows signs of wear and tear. In our business, we have the expertise to restore old, worn wooden floors to their former quality and appearance.

We take a thorough approach to ensure that your wood floor gets the best treatment and the longest lifespan.

For PUR treatments, our team starts with a comprehensive preparation of the floor surface; this includes a thorough sanding to remove all dust and dirt. Then we apply Wood sealer evenly over the entire surface. This method not only preserves the floor's original colour and texture, but also adds a new glow and strengthens the surface.

Then we apply a couple of coats of our fast-drying PUR, and in no time your floor is back to its factory finish. Your downtime is minimised. It is also possible to use UV light on PUR, this means that the floor is 100% cured when the light runs over the PUR.

With Oil:
After thorough preparation of the floor, our experts work the oil into the wood. We take care of the direction of the wood fibres and ensure that the oil penetrates deeply. Depending on the wood and the type of oil, several applications may be necessary. After each application, we ensure the correct drying time. You can also apply Wood sealer to the oiled floor to make the surface even stronger and the floor will last longer than it would with oil alone.
