Malermester Morten Skancke AS is located in IKEA Handelspark near Hamar, with an industrial flooring subdivision in Oslo. The painting company was established in 1990 as an ENK and today has 60 employees and a turnover of approximately 125 MNOK. We offer craft services in interior and exterior painting, flooring and renovation, insurance and epoxy coating. Our experienced team guarantees quality work and reliable results in all our projects. Skancke is a leader in painting and wallpapering in Norway, and we cover large parts of Eastern Norway for industrial and epoxy floors.

Due to an increased volume of assignments at our department in Oslo, we are now looking for more skilled people with a background in craftsmanship, preferably with experience from the industry. It is not a requirement that you have a trade or journeyman's certificate, but that you have basic skills and that you are passionate about the subject is a must. Familiarity with different types of epoxy and seamless flooring and a high focus on accuracy is a plus. 

As an Industrial Floor Installer at Malermester Morten Skancke AS, you must be able to co-operate with a team and other construction professionals. Reading and understanding building plans and complying with HSE standards are experiences you have from the industry. Being willing to travel for work is part of the position as an industrial floor layer, which means that you enjoy working independently as well as in a team. Typical workplaces where we carry out jobs are large factories, commercial buildings and car parks.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is independent, efficient and goal-orientated - but enjoys working in a team
• Passionate about the construction and craft industry
• Is punctual and reliable
• With qualifications equivalent to a Norwegian journeyman's certificate or relevant work experience in the field
• Speaks Norwegian and/or English well enough to meet our customers
• Has a class B driving licence
